Every neighbourhood has its local spot, but if you’re in the West End, you can’t go wrong with Golden Union’s hip, modern take on the classic. Fish like haddock, cod, and plaice are all on the menu, along with the traditional sides – homemade chips, mushy peas, and tartar sauce. This laidback restaurant also offers several other popular dishes such as pies, sausages, and fishcakes – all at affordable prices.
