Editor's review
Despite the traditional name, the Executioner's House was never used as a home for Kolobrzeg's city capital punishment department. Built in the 17th c., it was a merchant family house of the Ramlers and Goelbergs. After the last family moved out, the building was owned by various local craftsmen. Today, it houses a gourmet restaurant, prefect for a business lunch or a romantic supper. The menu is mostly all about European cuisine variations, with local accents. The portions are decent in size, eye-tempting, but most of all, delicious. The monumental first and second floor are especially recommended for seating, as they can make you really feel the spirit of the long-gone burgher families of Kolobrzeg.

Bardzo elegancka restauracja, dobra na romantyczne spotkania. Potrawy raczej wykwintne i nie drogie. W lecie stolik trzeba zamawiać z wyprzedzeniem - dużo turystów z całego świata.
My daughter and I went for something special to Domek Kata and my kid was really impressed. The interior feels almost like an art/history museum, with pictures and tapestries on walls. Really nice! And the food was really tasty, we've had fish soup and pirgos - a pork, feta cheese and eggplant layers. Yum! The portions were big enough for us to split, and still leave full. Definitely recommended!
