International Mozart Festival “Mozartiana 2007”

The continuation of the festival inaugurated in 2006 on the great composer’s 250th birthday. The initiator and main organiser is the Polish Chamber Choir Schola Cantorum Gedanensis, a leading European professional group playing a cappella music from Gdansk. The concert programme includes both the Master’s works and works inspired by his music. The concerts sharing the same Mozartian motif are exceptional due to the fact that they are held not only in the magnificent interior of Oliwa Cathedral and the Abbots’ Palace, but also in the open air of the picturesque historical palace park in Oliwa. This is an unprecedented event not only in Poland but also in Europe!
