Gdańsk has been drawing visitors from around the world for centuries as a hub of trade and industry, as an important cultural and historical centre, and as a mecca for tourism on the Baltic coast. More recently, talented artists from across the globe have travelled to this city to create "Loving Vincent", the world's first fully painted feature length film unveiling the life of Vincent Van Gogh (http://www.lovingvincent.com).

This exhibition “Perception" showcases the individual works of six of these artists from as far as the US and India. United by a common passion and inspired by the culture, landscape and people of the city, the artists sought to create on blank canvases their interpretations of Gdansk and other European cities they have soaked in.

"Perception" presents an eclectic series of paintings reflecting their impressions of the Tri-city and each artist's unique experience in coming here and finding their own story in Gdansk and Europe.

Join us for the opening of "Perception", at Sztuka Wyboru on Saturday 10th September at 7pm. The exhibition is free and runs until 2nd October. Feel free to share with anyone interested!

Sztuka Wyboru zaprasza na wystawę prac sześciu młodych artystów z czterech krajów świata, którzy od kilku miesięcy mieszkają w Gdańsku i pracują nad nowym pełnometrażowym filmem animowanym o Vincencie Van Goghu pt. "Loving Vincent" (BreakThru Films) .

Wystawa zatytułowana jest "Perception" czyli "Percepcja" i będzie zbiorem kilkudzięsięciu prac z pogranicza malarstwa i ilustracji, ktore powstały podczas pobytu artystów w Trójmieście.
