One of the Tri-City's musical highlights in the colder months is Jazz Jantar, organized by Klub Zak (which is well worth a visit in non-festival months for its concerts, theatre, film screenings and exhibitions). Most of the events in the Jazz Jantar festival will take place at the aforementioned club, but several special events will take place outside Klub Zak. Krakauer Plays Zorn (featuring David Krakauer and the Madness Orchestra) opens the festival on 18 October.
