Where to watch the World Cup in Gdansk

Viva Club

By night one of Sopot's most lively nightspots, by day Viva will be bringing you a different kind of action. The best kind in fact - World Cup action! Three big screens and three more high quality plasma ones, mean you won't be craning your neck to see Peter Crouch's robotic dance moves. Stacja de Luxe Pub

A sophisticated choice of World Cup venues if ever there was one. Normally you'd be better off posing and lounging at Stacja de Luxe, but the presence of a big screen and projector means its time to neck beer and sing "Three Lions" at the top of your voice. Stacja is located in the Wrzeszcz district of, just ten minutes away from the Old Town by SKM (rapid urban railway).

Tiger Pub

This swanky sports pub makes a top choice for the World Cup viewing. As well as boasting a big screen, there are also plenty of mini-skirted waitresses hovering around - meaning that you won't have to miss the action 'cos your queuing at the bar. Bear in mind that the owner, Dariusz 'Tiger' Michalczewski is an ex-boxing champ So could be the wrong place to watch Poland vs. England in the second round!

Soda Caf

The hugely popular Soda Caf throws parties every night of the week - from karaoke nights to discos and erotic shows. And if that isn't enough they're opening their illustrious doors to sports fans for the duration of World Cup 2006! With Fosters at 6 zloty a pint you'll have no excuse not to get in on the fun!

Roosters

The Rooster in Sopot is a favourite with sports fans, and it's easy to see why. American cuisine, sexy waitresses in hotpants and five TVs make up a winning formula.
