Awful place. Like many chains, food is deep fried and very very bland. I can't imagine there could be a worse place in zakopane. We were in a rush and it was the first place we noticed. Irony is we waited over an hour for food. We ordered an apple juice for our 4 year old and the astute waiter brought him half a litre!

A beautiful setting for great food. One of the prettiest buildings in Zakopane, it really stands out. Great central location too.

We know this type of restaurant from Slovakia, Kosice. We love it. I´m really happy that this restaurant is also in Zakopane. We are going to Zakopane in june 2011, can´t wait.:)

We spent a week in Krakow in the biginning of October 2010. On a rather cold day, we decided to take a trip to Zakopane, to visit the market there. On our way from the bus to the citycentre, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. As it from the outside looked friendly and cosy, we went inside and found a table. Here we had a very warm welcome by the owner herself. It turned out that she was half Danish, and therefor also understood Norwegian, something very useful for us, as she could give us some very good advice about the area, and where to do our shopping. The restaurant itself and the toilets looked very clean. The food was excellent, and we would definately go back! Eva Hermansen and Björn Bergsmark Norway

we ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Zakopane & although October month, the snow was falling heavily. The food was very good as was amtosphere & staff. no complaints!

Don't bother with this chain, there are many better, original places on Krupuwki!

We stopped in zakopane 19/08/10 till 27/08/10. This restaurant was recomended to us by our taxi driver from Krakow. We used it almost every night of our stay, it is quite simply superb. The menu is very european and is a nice change from the local Polish cuisine. The owner and staff are wonderful, friendly people and very welcoming. Entertainment is provided some nights and we found it very good. We recommend the daily specials they serve, we loved them. We hope to return to Zakopne and will definitely be heading back to "Madame Cs" again. we can highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to the owner & staff for making such a great addition to our holiday.

Bad choice. Yesterday I've waited for 20 minutes to be noticed by any waiter. Then, the waiter was very arrogant and gave me change from the bill - 20 z³ - in coins!

I agree with Robert: Very Poor quality food. I guess also they have absolutely no idea how to prepare Swiss Raclette and so I guess they use any cheap cheese to make the raclette and fondue. As Adam gave that comment on a review few months ago, that restaurant should be named (Little Cheat-Land or Little Shit-land , it is quite similar).

Food was good, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Waiters were behind the Bar and ignoring the Clients, about 4 couples including us had to get up and ask for things more then once... One was doing crosswords and the other was reading a magazine... Very poor... I wrote to there head Offices but was ignored..I will NOT be going there again, and I have been 9 times to Poland... Tony.....

spent 3 days in Zako with the whole family (9 of us). This place had something for everyone..a bit pricier than others, but the satisfaction of all was worth it.

fabulous atmosphere to dine in, service can be better as what was on the menu was not all available. Will be back though.

Try the créme bruleé its SUPER...never get it better.

Magic Island on the Shitty Ocean of the Mountain FastFood restaurants in Zakopane. Lady from Denmark who owns this restaurant knows how to cook and how to serve the clients. Despite there is no vegetarian food in the menu she prepared for us delicious grilled vegetables with pasta. ummmmmm... Not cheap... but it is worth it.

Great restaurant, better than all the other restaurants in zakopane. Modern, clean and yet cosy restaurant. Loved my pasta!!! En voor de Nederlanders onder ons, je moet hier echt eten! je krijgt waar voor je geld en het na een week op die houten bankjes is dit een verademing..

After 8 days in zakopane fill up with local food in different tourist restaurant, but MADAM C they no how to make fine cussine.SUPER.

After visiting all those restaurants offering Polish folk cuisine it is a great change!. Lovely atmosphere of a small place where you can speak with a Danish owner, read books, let children play, and have a nice, inspiring meal.

pretty good as an alternative to all the folksy ones, but we did in joy the ye olde hut ones too!

I agree the concept of the restaurant is great. But when you order a meal with 4 ingredients and that instead you get for 3 of them an other ingredients not listed, you wonder why. After asking the waitress, she went to ask the cook and told us that the cook decided to do so because most of people do not like those ingredients anyway.But we do.We did not even get any excuse for this.And later, for a salad supposed on the menu to be with goat cheese, we got some feta cheese in a pour salad.Once again , waitress said people do not like.But we do.So why put this on the menu.There are lies so maybe most of the menu is all wrong.So, i do not want to imagine which cheese they used for the Fondue we ordered.May be Hochland cheddar, beacuse people like more overthere than emmental.I will never go back again.So I completely do not recommand this place.Or maybe for a bier in a quiet atmosphere.But maybe the bier wll be made with something else.I let you imagine.So order in bottle is the best idea.Thanks but no thanks at all!!

You have to try this place - Food - service and decor is fantastic. Something completely different Hope to come back soon

1st impression very good - stuff friendly. For vegetarian I could find delicious pasta and if you don't like menu cook can make something else that you like. I'm a cook and I recommend this place.Zakopane without Masame C wouldn't be Zakopane :). Regards from Kolobrzeg

Given that I'm of Polish descent, perhaps I shouldnt have been going to Swiss restaurants, but I did indeed enjoy this one. Just don't tell Babcia!

Ate here during our stay in March, food was “Superb” and prices very good (much like other restaurants in Poland) The menu had a very large selection and the restaurant staff had a very helpful manor and spoke English A fantastic restaurant!!!!

We went to this restaurant a few times from end of January to mid February, and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was relaxed, nice chill out music and the food and service were very good!

tu poznalam mojego meza dwa lata temu, i tu wracamy przy kazdej okazji,tak wspanialej atmosfery i kuchni nie znajdziecie na podhalu,polecam wszystkim zakochanym : )

well... eating there with my friends we ve been a bit deceived by the neuburg fondue we had wich wasnt that tasty . and then we had a chocolate fondue wich was very good , the service was good and the decor (ikea)all right. if you are desesperate for a fondue go there BUT if you are used to this food .....

beautyfull Tatra food with great interior,i went there with friends and we had fantastic time,we will comeback to this restaurant,greetings from Mexico !
