EXHIBITION: INSPIRATIONS - PHOTOGRAPHS WLADYSLAW HASIOR - PHOTOGRAPHY

Zakopane may be a relatively small place - but it has provided a home to some of Central Europe's most intriguing, not to say eccentric artists over the years. High on the list is Wladyslaw Hasior (1928-1999), who made otherworldly sculptures out of such objects as dismembered dolls, toy airplanes, prams and sewing machines. He was much more interesting than Damien Hirst, and this museum endures as a temple to his weird and wonderful visions. This summer, besides checking out his sculptures, visitors will find a complementary show that delves into his photographic experiments.
