Exhibition: Young Poland - Words - Images - Spaces

This carefully arranged exhibition looks at "Mloda Polska" (Young Poland), the neo-romantic movement that dominated the arts here a hundred years ago. Creatively, it was arguably Poland's most fruitful era. This show looks at the world through the eyes of Stanislaw Wyspianski (1869-1907) the pre-eminent artist and play-wright of the day. About 100 paintings and prints by leading artists illustrate the wistful themes of the fin-de-siecle.
