Edward Wojtaszek directs this interpretation of the writings of Jean-Luc Lagarce, in a show that, on the surface, is a straightforward carnival of lavish costume and camp, but carries with it an undercurrent of ambiguity. Wojtaszek himself said that creating this production was a challenge, as there was no obvious way in which to interpret the text or to develop the shape of the production on stage.
