Gallery of Zakopane

The Pod Kuźniczym Młotem Gallery of Zakopane and the Tatras was the first interactive museum to open in Małopolska, and remains a hit with youngsters - not to mention those adults who like to get hands on with history. It's main claim to fame is the large collection of mining and industrial artifacts, but there is also a chance to see how the shepherds of Podhale lived, and to find out about traditional methods of food preparation. Don't miss the chance to try on traditional costumes, or to learn how to weave using an old-fashioned loom. Open daily, 10am-6pm.
