Kazutoki Umezu - Kiki Band

New sounds in jazz are never easy to categorise, and Kiki Band is no different. Elements of rock and ethnic music are fused into something that is undoubtedly greater than its constituent parts.

The band hails from Japan, and are Very Big at home. They are also regulars on the festival circuit in Europe and elsewhere, maybe thanks to their freshness and willingness to innovate where others fear to tread.
