A man for all seasons

18:00 - 21:00

Mountaineer, ski instructor, glider pilot and instructor, painter, sculptor – Bronisław Czech was a rugged outdoors type, yet known to all as a gentle and sensitive man. The life of this complex local hero will be under the microscope at the Tatra Museum, at a free event to be chaired by Wojciech Szatkowski at the end of June.

The multi-media programme will include never before seen photographs by Czech, as well as celebrating a career cut tragically short when he died of exhaustion at Auschwitz on June 5 1944.
