A Passion For Open Spaces

The Villa Koliba, which houses the Museum of the Zakopane Style, is one of the most charming places in the highlands, taking you back to the golden days when a certain Mr Stanislaw Witkiewicz tried to launch a national style of architecture based on highland traditions. This winter, besides the delightful permanent collection, visitors can enjoy an exhibition of photographs by Jarek Mozdzynski, a recent laureate of of the National Geographic Contest. Here he introduces rural and urban landscapes from Europe and beyond.
