Jazz Camping 2010

Jazz has a surprisingly long tradition in the highlands. From the fifties, jazz was seen as a kind of protest against Communist tyranny. A little over a decade ago, some jazz enthusiasts decided to give the tradition a boost, and they set up this cracker of a festival. Veterans of Poland's jazz scene will join up and coming stars at the beautifully located prewar Gorski Hotel in Kalatowki. Well worth checking out.
