The highlanders have a beguiling tradition of painting on glass. You'll spot such gems at countless wooden churches across the region. This annual competition helps keep the custom alive and kicking. The show is being hosted at the famed chapel at Jaszczurowka, one of the most picturesque sanctuaries in Poland. The exquisite chapel was designed by larger than life genius Stanislaw Witkiewicz, father of the 'Zakopane Style' of architecture.
