Bangkok has an excellent reputation when it comes to health care. People from around the world flock to Bangkok for medical tourism, which you can read more about on hospitals' websites, but rest easy that routine health is also held in high regard. Many of the top hospitals offer a “check-up package”, which is affordable even for those without insurance. Bumrungrad Hospital, for example, offers check up packages starting at about 150 USD, without insurance. Several of the city’s best known hospitals, in addition to Bumrungrad (https://www.bumrungrad.com/) include BNH Hospital (http://www.bnhhospital.com/en) and Bangkok Heart Hospital (http://www.bangkokhospital.com/hearthospital/en/), known for its specialization.
