Editor's review
There are plenty of cultural institutions that encourage an erudite, introspective atmosphere, but Bangkok's House of Museums is quite the opposite and still so stimulating: the historical objects are not so carefully curated or framed, but instead presented as a historical reflection of the past. The small museum, which is only open on weekends from 10am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, but still tends to attract quite a lot of visitors. Full to the brim of of everyday objects dating back to the 1960s, the curiosities are of great interest to many visitors, who love to peek into the historical lives of locals. Toys, medical equiptment, packaging, you name it!
