Bus or train?
Hi, I'm in Krakow at the moment. Planning to head down to Zakopane at the weekend. Is it best to go by bus our train. Big thanks in advance!

Hi there, As it's peak season, you may be better off taking the train. As one thing you don't get are train jams. At least not unless you're very unlucky! To and from Zakopane at this time of year can be pretty slowgoing on the roads. When you get near Krakow on the way back, it can really grind to a halt. Still, often it's just a question of luck. Have as good trip!

Yes, that is right. As it is a peak season period, the road between Cracow and Zakopane might be very busy and with a lot of traffic.Normally it takes 2 hour by bus.Now maybe 3 hour.By train, it is 4 hour at least. In both of them, there is no air conditionning, so make sure to have water bottles as the heat is touching soth of Poland.Toilets should be available only in train and there is no stop point (to buy drinks or to go to toilet )with buses. But, for me, the panorama can be really better checked by bus.So the choice is yours. And if you need any nice ad comfy accomodation, please do feel free to check www.ogrodygorskie.pl. All the best and have a Great visit of Zakopane
