There's one in a basement near the Nowy Swiat end of Swietokrzyszka. It's quite strange though as they have tons of old crap. The poor guy looked as if he never gets any customers so it was a little embarrassing. I don't think anyone has bought anything here since Chopin was at number one. There is an excellent second hand CD shop in a little street at the back of the Galeria Centrum shops on Marszalkowska. Actually Traffic Club on Bracka seems to be getting in quite a lot of re-issue vinyl nowadays.

I think the 'crap' one you mention is called Muzant and I actually think it's pretty good, loads of old vinyl and a grand collection of vintage stereo stuff. Ideal for the art school experimenter. The second hand CD shop is called Hey Joe is on Zlota Street which is indeed behind the main drag of stores on Marszalkowska (the section nearer Swietokrzyszka). There is also a fairly new record shop at the opposite end of Marszalkowska, near Plac Unii Lubelskie, I've not been up there yet but they claim to specialise in Jazz, blues, funk, folk and world.

if you are looking for club music head to Side One or Wax Box both on Chmielna street. They are both fantastic little shops filled with specialized records, including the newest releases from house to techno to dubstep.
