Wedding presents in Poland?

Hi! I'm invited to the wedding of a friend's brother. I'm very looking forward to experience one of the legendary Polish weddings :) However, I'm not sure what to give as a gift. I don't know his brother at all and my friend just said to me it was up to me. As I don't have an idea in particular and I'm not a fan of giving just something, may it be useful or not, I'm thinking about giving some money. In Germany, that is quite common if you are not close with the bride/broom. I'm not familiar with Polish traditions, so I was wondering if it is also normal in Poland or may be seen as inappropriate? Thanks in advance! Jurek

When we got married last year most guests brought flowers and an envelope with some money in it, we got very few actual wedding gifts other than this. http://cracowtours.wordpress.com/2010/06/17/the-ultimate-guide-to-a-polish-wedding/
