What's open over Christmas?
I will be here over Christmas and New Year with family, but in our own flat. As I don't reckon I'll get a turkey here and I like geese too much to eat one, I wonder whether the restaurants will be open for Christmas Eve and Christmas day? I suppose the hotel restaurants will, but how about the old town? Any advice would be appreciated or we might have to import pot noodles.......!

Most bigger restaurants in the Old Town should be open - they may even have some special Christmas dinners, you can probably check with them and make a reservation when you get into town. Keep in mind, though, that the 24th and 26th are also holidays in Poland, and many shops will be closed, so it's best to stock up on food for your flat on the 23rd!
