OLEŚ DUO - a project created by brothers Bartłomiej and Marcin, breaks stereotypes, proving that double bass and percussion are enough to create complete music. It is a continuation of the previous search for brothers who for many years have been creating music full of equally sophisticated and uncommon sounds.
Their duet - exclusively for double bass and percussion - delights with both the richness of sounds and the vastness of the worlds created in this way. Bartłomiej's brothers and Marcin Oleś were hailed as the greatest treasure of Polish jazz of the 21st century, Polish Jazz Performers of the Year 2016. According to the JazzPRESS and RadioJAZZ.FM colleges - they are one of the most valued artists of today's jazz scene. They collaborated with eminent artists from around the world like David Murray, Kenny Werner, Tomasz Stańko and Jorgos Skolias, Antoni Gralak, Theo Jörgensmann, Erik Friedlander, Chris Speed, Herb Robertson, Rob Brown, with whom they give concerts, and they also record highly rated critics and audiences.
