Podgórze Christmas Market of Extraordinary Things

When November turns to December (Weekend of 30th Nov/1st Dec 2019) PODGORZE.PL Association and Podgorze Cultural Center invite you to the 5th edition of the 'Podgorze Christmas Fair of Extraordinary Things'.

During these days the Podgorski Square will light up and charm us all with its uniqueness. Podgórze brings the locality, the people, their ideas and commitment. Thanks to creative co-operation with local entrepreneurs and authorities, we will once again have the opportunity to participate in an interesting event that is part of the calendar of the wonderful annual activities.

This festive fair is a great opportunity to meet many interesting artists, to buy original and varied handicrafts and to taste sweet, savoury and warming delicacies. There will be art workshops for the youngest, a visit from the lovely Santa Claus and the festive hanging of Christmas decorations on the Podgórskie Market Square.

There will also be music! Against the background of the enchanting St. Josephs Church will be a stage upon which a line up of fantastic musicians will appear. Their performances will enrich and delight the guests who visit the Podgórze Fair.

On our stage you will see many famous and independent performers, bands and singers of the Krakow music scene alongside planned entertainment for the youngest, with a selection of wonderful performances for children

Looking forward to the excitement and atmosphere of the holidays, the market goods will be very diverse. Everyone will be able to buy something for themselves and their loved ones. Artisans and enthusiasts, presenting their assortment at the Fair are mostly inhabitants of Podgórze. They create with passion and great commitment.

Another attraction will be the over 100-year-old Victorian Carousel. The ride on it will be a must-have event and a unique opportunity to move on to the days of ancient fairs.
