Time and again, visitors to the Horseshoe Inn in the centre of Zakopane vow that they will return - charmed as they are by the traditional Polish cuisine, excellent service, and relaxing, intimate atmosphere.
The Horseshoe Inn, Gospoda Podkowa, in Polish, offers both rooms for visitors to the Tatra mountains, and sumptuous dining for its own guests and others. Drop by for a delicious and filling dinner, or try the amazing Horseshoe Breakfast, which on its own is doing so much to push the reputation of this gem of a bistro at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.

I have visited Zakopane several times and this restaurant never fails to impress. I dined here with my girlfriend, this was her first time dining here and she left wanting to return to Zakopane just to dine here again. Its hard to say what is best as all the food looked incredible but you could do worse than the Highlanders kotlet....GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY !
