BBC broadcast from Wroclaw!

Ever since Poland's accession to the EU in 2004, Poles have been leaving their country en masse and heading to the lands of their West European neighbours, seeking fame and fortune. Amongst their many destinations no where has proved more popular than Britain, where it is estimated between 500,000 and 1 million Poles have settled in the last two years.

The impact of this migration has been surprisingly positive for both countries. Whilst Poles have given Britain's economy a major boost with their hard-working ethos, the Brits have taken an increased interest in all things Polish - with the result that Poland is experiencing a major rise in tourism.

Here to get the inside story and explore the links between the UK and Poland in greater detail are a team from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, who will be broadcasting live from Wroclaw on Thursday December 7th and Friday December 8th.

Led by Annie Othen, the BBC will be discussing Wroclaw as a hot new tourist destination, exploring the Christmas Markets as part of their regular 'Retail Therapy' slot, and conducting interviews with the fair folk of the city.

The broadcasts will take place between 11:00 and 14:00 on the 7th and 8th, and the team will be based in the Pod Papugami cafe on the Main Square. If you can't be there then you can tune in online at bbc.co.uk/coventry and if you feel the urge to participate you can get in touch with Andrew Bowman at andrew.bowman@bbc.co.uk or pop into Pod Papugami to find out more.
