I reckon Chicago is the closest thing to a real American bar in Warsaw. Has a nice 'sit at the bar' atmosphere as well as plenty of tables for when hunger strikes or when you need to have a more intimate tete a tete. The dark polished wood and huge collection of enamel plaques all add to the character and the menu features a host of Tex-Mex classics, ribs, wings, T-bones, shrimp, enchiladas and fajitas (have to stop at this point as I'm salivating too much!). Also on offer is an extensive drinks list with copious cocktails and a quality wine list. As proof of this diner's popularity I've just read on the internet that there are currently 1.5 million Poles in Chicago! (HA-HA!)

I went here last night and I liked the fact that you can sit at the bar, the staff were friendly, it was warm, lots of people eating, nice American style pictures and 50's advertising and tv's playing music. The food looked a bit more expensive than usual Warsaw prices but was an American Diner range of meals.

Stated that Saturday's they have Happy Hour 16.00-19.00 but refused to honour offer. Typical Russian attitude, never to be recommended!

Not a review but a comment to Paul from the UK. Really what is the point visiting another country and going for an American steak.. The whole point in travel is to experience something of the culture... That includes the food. Want American steak, then go to America. Ignore my rating as i have not been in this restaurant but had to give points to post this.

Really disappointed, had a heavy night drinking the night before I went here dying for a good american steak.walked for the other side of town foe 50 mins to get this steak I was dying for. When I arrived there I had to ask for a menu, once I had decided on the most expensive steak that I had been dreaming about all night, I then had to get up again to ask if I could order. Asked for my steak to be well cooked, that didn't happen almost could not eat it with the blood inside it. Ok far enough may If they had bothered to ask how my meal was they might have offered to change it, but no they did not come to check on my meal. Veg was not cooked neither, as fir the price you where paying high class price for this crap. To top it all off I then had to get up again to pay my bill, and then wait for ages fir my change. Ohh and the place was empty so they had no excuse. I will never be back here.
