Coldplay Confirm Warsaw Concert

It seems that the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' stop in Warsaw won't be the only big-name concert to look forward to in 2012. British rock band and international superstars Coldplay have announced that they will play in Poland's capital as part of their European tour in promotion of their fifth album Mylo Xyloto, released earlier this year.

Led by frontman and vocalist Chris Martin, Coldplay began their musical career in 1996 in London. The group has enjoyed international popularity ever since, with their previous albums including Parachutes (200) and A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002) selling in the millions and winning Grammies, Brit Awards, And MTV VIdeo Music Awards across the board. 2011's Mylo Xyloto has already sold over 2 million copies since its release.

Tickets for Coldplay's Warsaw concert go on sale on 10 January 2012. The performance will take place at the National Stadium on 19 September 2012.
