Plans for Poland's Largest Theme Park

Visitors to Warsaw may soon get the chance to spend a day in the region's largest theme park, as plans begin to take form for the construction of such a site 40km south-west of the capital.

The creation of Adventure World Warsaw has been made possible due to investments of 400 million euro by investors registered in Luxemburg. The process will be coordinated by a company named Las Palm, with construction set to begin by 2012.

The theme park will cover an area of approximately 240 hectares and include multiple islands and entertainment areas including rides, hotels, an aquapark, cinemas, shops, restaurants, and clubs.

Adventure World Warsaw is set to open in spring 2014.
