If you're looking for low-key, comfortable accommodation in the centre, look to Apia first. This small, 12-room family-owned hotel offers an attractive alternative to large, corporate franchises targetting businessmen. You'll find no conference halls here, but you will find a cosy, personal atmosphere, attentive staff, spacious rooms and all you need in terms of free internet, satellite TV, free parking and other increasingly expected amenities. The location on an intimate street of the Old Town adds to the endearment of this place as soon as you step out the door; however the fact that you can see churches and other landmarks from every window might make you content to keep inside. The suites are a particularly good value. Singles 61-81, doubles 73-93, triples 85-103, suites 78-98.
