Sitges train station is just 5 or 10 mins stroll from the Old Town (click on the icon above for the station's exact location on a map). Don't expect a grand building on the scale of Gare du Nord - this is a typical Spanish suburban train station with little but a few ticket booths and the platform themselves in the way of amenities. Good luck if you need the toilet! The good news is that trains run regularly, around four times an hour, to and from Barcelona. Journey time is approx. 30 mins and tickets cost around 3 euros one way. On the same square you'll find the Sitges Tourist Information Centre.

Beware of pickpockets!
We were robbed while visiting there last week. My husband’s wallet was stolen with important credit cards and documents! When we returned to our camping most of the other campers told us about how they too had been robbed in Sitges-all during the day too! Wallets, purses, bikes, etc. This is terrible for your city! We will never return and neither will the people we’ve met….

Sorry, no information, but---- my partner David and I are moving from San Diego,Ca to Sitges in November. We visited there in March 2016 on our way to Aix De Provence and fell in love with this charming place. We are retired and decides to make Sitges our home for one year to see more of Europe. We are looking for a 2 bed/2 bath, fully furnished apartment and are soooo looking forward to be part of this beautiful place.
