Rocabilly
Editor's review
Don't be put off by the denim, leather and ZZ Top beards that are among the trademarks of this club's clientele - this is a well behaved biker haunt where you are unlikely to meet the horrors so graphically invoked by the likes of Hunter S Thompson. It's the second incarnation of a venue that began life as the Free Hawks Club, but changed recently to Rocabilly - presumably to leave absolutely no room for misunderstanding by bird lovers. Live music is the big thing here - made even bigger by the fact that the concerts are all free. Enjoy them with your choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, and if you fancy a snack the club has a deal with a nearby cafe which will rustle up and deliver delicious local specialities to your table. Includes free wi-fi, and a private function room for hire.
