Don't let the website address confuse you; Westa is the new name for the former Backpacker's Planet hostel right in the centre of old Riga. It's now a two-star, modern budget hotel that accommodates families, groups, couples and individual visitors to Latvia, promising comfort and service at affordable prices. Each room has its own bathroom, and there is free wi-fi internet, along with TV and laundry. Towels are included in the price of your stay. Reception is open 24 hours, there's no curfew, and the hotel regularly offers special deals. Then there are the things that money just cannot buy - like the fantastic view of the centre of the city and the great location, that's just a short walk from the best of everything that Riga has to offer.
