One thing needs to be said about Cinnamon Sally's, above all else; every single guest is offered free phone calls to anywhere in the world. If you're calling Latvia, the USA or Canada, feel free to chat for as long as you want; for the rest of the world, there's a ten minute limit - but it is completely and utterly free.
And you'll have plenty to tell your mum about. Quite aside from the wonderful time you're having in Riga, you can boast about the facilities and activities organised for Cinnamon Sally's guests. There are regular pub crawls, karaoke and movie nights too - as well as all that you would usually expect from a hostel, including free wi-fi, towels, self-catering kitchen, tea and coffee, maps, hugs and cinnamon rolls (okay, so maybe most hostels don't offer the last two).
No wonder it's widely considered to be the best hostel in Riga!
