Aimed squarely at the business market, and hitting home in quite some style, the Clarion is Choice Hotels' rather grand boutique offering in the centre of Riga.
The hotel's location means it is easy to reach from the airport or the railway station, and close to the main attractions and business facilities in the Latvian capital.
It is the little extra touches that make the Clarion a hotel worth more than a little consideration - such as free weekday newspapers, free wi-fi, free continental breakfast, sauna, full-service restaurant, and afternoon tea.
Naturally, as a venue oriented towards the business traveler, the Clarion has conference and banqueting rooms which can accommodate up to 60 people - but families (even those with pets) are welcome too.
All rooms come with flat-screen cable TV, desk, hair dryer, and safe. Extra facilities such as balconies are available in some rooms.
