Small, civilised and sophisticated cocktail bar inspired by the great American author, with impressive old world decor and first class service. Apart from Hemingway’s dedication to producing the very best cocktails made from premium spirits and freshly squeezed juices, it also claims to offer the most extensive range of absinthe on the Czech Republic, as well as over 200 varieties of rum. Hemingway is extremely popular with both locals and visitors so it’s best to book a table in advance, but if you don’t the door staff will make every effort to accommodate you, and will even take your number and call you up when they have a table ready for you. Not overly expensive given the location and upscale ambience, Hemingway is definitely one of Prague’s best bar experiences.
