No trip to Miami is complete without a bite of Joe’s crabs, or at least a full belly of the epic side dishes. The Joe’s story is truly part of Miami Beach history - starting in 1913 with a small lunch counter of a Hungarian immigrant. The dining experience is not for the faint-hearted - expect crowds, noise, and a possible wait even with reservations ... but it’s all totally worth it. The stone crabs are great, but their secret signature sauce is to die for. Diners can’t go wrong with any side dish, but the insider favorites are the hashed brown, skinny fried sweets (sweet potato fries), and the lobster mac & cheese. Save room for the famous Key Lime Pie.
