Located in Kazimimerz, Marchewka z Groszkiem is a tip of the hat to good, old mama’s cuisine, just as Poles expect it to be. Meat and vegetarian dishes, a selection of pierogi, and of course, a trove of Polish soups. The undisputed king of the latter is the peas and carrot cream soup, served in a very interested form. The décor matches the menu: sturdy furniture, with a match of the oldschool, and soft jazz music in the background. Marchewka z Groszkiem is a family- and children-friendly place, and the prices won’t ruin your budget, too.
