This new bar occupies a prime position on the laid-back Plac Nowy. Zachcianka means fancy or caprice, and the owners certainly seem to be creating a fanciful world, with painted ivy, grapes and flowers curling over the doorways, and plenty of little cosy nooks and crannies. If Mother Nature is in a good mood, you can sit outside with a glass of fruit-laden sangria, or one of their trusty strawberry, banana or whortleberry (something for Bilbo Baggins perhaps) cocktails, and watch the world float by. Drop by for salsa parties every Thursday with a genuine Cuban DJ, as well as Saturday night regular club music evenings!
