visit to krakow oct 2010

First visit to krakow. Have been told best to stay in Jewish quarter rather than city center. Is this so? Also who is best for tours. Also any events happening 25-29 Oct. Thanks Frank

It depends on what you're interested in seeing. The Jewish quarter (Kazimierz) is more hip, while the Old Town is more tourist-friendly (and thus more expensive). You can check these guys out for tours: http://www.krakow-tours.com/

It all depends what you prefer, both Old town and Kazimierz are great locations. www.krakowtours.co.uk are a great tour company with English guides.
