Hello,4 of us are visiting Cracow for the New Year celebrations and wonder if anyone could recommend a good restaurant with Polish food and music preferably not in a hotel for New Years Eve dinner. Thanks Steve

One ofe the best restaurants is CYRANO DE BERGERAC, great choice for special dinner. (street slawkowska 26 rest@cyranodebergerac.pl

Cyrano de Bergerac is FRENCH food primarily. For Polish food I recommend WIERZYNEK, HAWELKA, SZLACHECKIE JADLO and CHERUBINO (the latter is more European/fusion). I've also heard good things about POD ANIOLAMI. Good luck and good eating!

Pod Aniolami ul Grodzka 35 has the best Polish food in Krakow (supper). Call for reservations on the weekend 12-421 39 39. If you are looking for reasonable Polish food try the corner of Tomasz at Plac Szapanksi.

Try Rooster's. It is an American restaurant with a take on Hooter's. Of course it sells Polish food and all sorts of others. Easy to find-off one of the streets on the Rynek Glowny. (market square). Prices are reasonable. And you will find the exact address in the "restaurants" section of this website.
