Plac SzczepaƄski Outdoor Cinema shows the best animations from the last season

IX Krakow Summer Animation Days (3-6.08.2017) is an open-air event organized by the Foundation for the Promotion of Artistic, Film and Audiovisual Culture, ETIUDA & ANIMA, in cooperation with the Krakow Festival Office.
Over four nights at the Szczepanski Square, animated films from Canada, Korea, Germany, Argentina, France, Russia, Slovenia, Estonia, Switzerland will be shown. We will see short metrics awarded and honored during animation festivals: Etude & Anima International Film Festival and Austrian Tricky Women.

An important point of the program will be the presentation of the recent creations from students of the animation studio of the Film School in Lodz, produced by the German Animationsinstitut Filmakademie Baden -Wirttemberg, headed by famous animator Andreas Hykade.

The program will also include the latest full-length animation shown in Cannes: a difficult childhood story in (Claude Barras, Switzerland), a wonderful tale of old age and friendship old woman and dog in Louise in winter (Jean-François Laguionie, France)

 In addition, during the day there are also attractions for children and young people: free animation workshops, games with childrens entertainers on Szczepanski Square, cartoons from Polish animation studios and street art workshops. We warmly welcome you!
