Unsound Silent Disco 2017

Unsound Festival once again joins Wianki, the annual musical celebration of the summer solstice weekend taking place across Krakow. Our silent disco has become a key element of the party, with fun lineups curated to appeal to festival goers as well as a broader audience. This year, the fourth Unsound Silent Disco takes place at midnight on 24th June on Plac Szczepański, with four great DJs: FELIX K, TASH LC, ELTRON JOHN and OPTIK.

FELIX K is one of Berlin’s most interesting DJs and producers, known for breaking the boundaries between drum & bass, techno and ambient. Championing dark and minimal sounds, he has released music on his own imprint Hidden Hawaii as well as celebrated labels Blackest Ever Black and Dystopian. His support on Channel One is OPTIK, one of Krakow’s best DJs and a true veteran of local scene. He’s been playing adventurous and deep sounds of techno since 1999.

TASH LC headlines Channel Two with her audacious mix of club and African music. Associated with the Boko Boko clubnight, she’s one of the most exciting London DJs and radio hosts to emerge in recent years. We’ve already seen her in action at the opening of our 89 club back in November - and couldn’t resist bringing her back for Wianki! Also appearing on Channel Two is the one and only ELTRON JOHN, bringing his perfect mix of heartfelt house and disco that is soul-searching, raw and trippy all at once.
