Knights In Zabierzow: 2nd Norbertine Fair
The largest knight tourney event, the Norbertine Fair - Knights In Zabierzów, kicks off for the second time, attracting almost 30 knight fraternities to the western suburbs of Krakow.
The programme includes knight tournaments, equestrian stunts, and a traditional archery competition. The grand finale will be the great battle for the medieval fort, including ca. 200 knights, archers and artillery.
The second day will be Ethno Sunday, featuring a grand fair of both historical and contemporary handicraft products, as well as local foods and beverages. The youngest participants will be able to participate in the Andegaweńska Szkoła Rycerska [The Anjou Knight School], where kids can learn the basics of fencing, courtesy and herbalism under the watchful eye of knights, maids of honour and monks.
Staring in the evening show are a Zakopane band, Krywań.
