The Trafalgar Pub is always a good bet if you want to go for a drink with some friends. It's located very conveniently on the Dommelstraat, right in the city centre. The Trafalgar Pub kitchen serves some good meals for a reasonable price and their summer garden is great for when the sun's out.

Great pub, so-so restaurant. The pub part is at the front of the building, the restaurant at the back. The pub is cosy and well laid out but can become quite busy during peak hours, with people passing through to get to and from the restuarant. But its always got great atmosphere and the beer is good. Bearing in mind the prices are relatively low the restaurant is probably not that bad, I just wouldn't recommend it for a 'culinary experience' - frankly you're better off eating cheap in one of the nearby spots and spending the savings on beer in the Trafalgar.
The Trafalgar is famous among expats for the English dishes it serves. It has a good atmosphere.
