EURO 2012 on big screen?

In many cities soccer fans will not be able to see EURO 2012 matches on a big screen. For security reasons the government has announced more rules for putting up a screen in a city. This causes city councils to not give out permission to organisers as easily as before.

In Eindhoven however, the city council has appointed 4 squares (Wilhelminaplein, Markt, Stadhuisplein (city hall square) and Stationsplein) as possible locations for big screens from the quarter finals onwards. So for the matches in the group stages (not only from the Dutch squad, but also from other participating countries), you'ld have to find a spot in an Eindhoven pub or bar, at a friend's place or at home. And then it's up to local entrepreneurs and organisers to get together and prepare some notorious orange parties with big screens to watch Holland play in the finals. If we make it that far that is....
