Space Age Design

On October 13 we will be going back to the sixties and seventies in the Philips Museum with a temporary exhibition focusing on design during the space age. The space age began with the launch of the Sputnik in 1957. The optimism during this period had a huge impact on design, including at Philips. It was evident in graphics, electronic music, products and buildings, like the Evoluon that was built in 1966. As part of the Space Age Design exhibition we will also be showing examples of how the space age influenced subsequent – and even current – Philips designs.

This event happens in Philips Museum
