WW II bomb found in Danube river

A 500 kilo blind was located in Budapest's Old Town, near an old, iron bridge. 8,000 people had to be evacuated for security reasons, as Budapest police commenced process of removing the bomb.
The pyrotechnic crew managed to obtain the bomb safely and detonate it in a remote place outside Budapest, however citizens of Budapest weren't allowed to return to their homes until evening.
Hungarian cities that were allies of Nazi Germany had been heavily bombed by American, British and Soviet troops in last days of WW II. Budapest alone suffered 37 blanket bombings. In effect a lot of blinds are found during all sort of construction works. Only since 2008 people in Budapest undergone 10 evacuations.
