Choice has long been something sadly lacking in vegetarian restaurants in Europe. Even those truly dedicated outlets (as opposed to those which offer a 'vegetarian option') have only recently begun to think creatively.
So thank heavens for Veggie Chinese Gourmet Cuisine in Charlottenburg. And if you think the name is a bit of a mouthful, wait until you see the menu. It's all about classic far eastern cooking, with natural ingredients, none of that nasty MSG, and absolutely no meat.
The restaurant offers plenty of choice too on the vegan and lactose-free fronts. The menu changes every fortnight, presumably as this is how long it would take you to get through everything on offer.
