It's never easy to predict the 'next big thing' in any city, least of all one that has moved as fast as Berlin in reinventing itself. Nevertheless, Rixpack may be onto something with their location - hardly central but with all the signs of a new hang out for the bohemian set.
The hostel has all the standard requirements - wi-fi, laundry, cooking facilities and so on, and also offers a novel choice of sleeping arrangements. There are mixed and female only dorms, or course, but you might fancy bedding down in the vintage fire engine in the back yard, or taking the private 'Creepy Box' - basic, but cheap and sleeps up to eight.
